Skills Coach - Project Management
Salary: £29,000.00 to £39,000.00 /year

We are seeking new talent to join our team at an exciting period in our development and to help us achieve our goals. WHAT SKILLS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re really interested in finding Skills Coaches with experience in the Project Management programmes that have proven expertise ideally in one or more of the following:

  • Level 4 Project Management Apprenticeship (aligned to the APM Project Management (PMQ) qualification)
  • Level 3 Improvement Technician Apprenticeship
  • Level 4 Improvement Practitioner Apprenticeship

Working with a variety of really exciting clients across public and private sectors, from large to small employers, our ambition is to be the first choice and leading provider in leadership & management training.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE LOOK LIKE?

  • Curating the programme of individual learners through an active programme of skills coaching
  • Coaching Learners on a 1-2-1 basis, in study groups, through webinars and digital classroom sessions.
  • Project Management only : Hold the PMQ qualification (or higher) and ideally are APM members
  • Administrating individual learning plans including portfolio preparation, assessment, feedback and grading.
  • Preparing Learners for their End Point Assessment.

Apprenticeship Programme Mentor

We’re really interested in finding Apprenticeship Programme Mentors that have proven expertise ideally the following areas:

  • Knowledge of the apprenticeship standards including Leadership and Management and Customer Service programmes
  • Experience of Internal Quality Assurance ideally including facilitation of standardisation meetings
  • Creative; ideally with experience in designing and delivering training materials
  • Ability to engage apprentices via e-learning and group sessions
  • Ability to plan and deliver effective support, guidance and feedback to apprentices and Skills Coaches
  • Adaptable to change and evolve with the organisation and learning environment
  • Excellent time management and organisational skill

WHAT DOES THE ROLE LOOK LIKE?

  • Ensure that all elements of the Apprenticeship Standard (and related qualifications) are covered and assessed in line with the assessment plan.
  • Plan, develop and deliver scheduled webinars / podcasts / other digital resources and supporting material with our in-house specialist digital learning team.
  • Develop assessment plans for each programme in area of responsibility that meet the needs of the Apprenticeship Standard and any associated qualifications.
  • Act as IQA for all Skills Coach assessment and feedback across programmes in area of responsibility
  • Lead on standardisation work across programmes in area of responsibility.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of EPA across your specific Apprenticeship Programme(s)
  • Act as champion for programmes

WHAT SKILLS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re really interested in finding Skills Coaches with experience in delivering coaching around the various Management programmes and that have proven expertise ideally in one or more of the following:

  • Level 3 Customer Service
  • Level 3 Business Admin
  • Level 3 Team Leading
  • Level 5 Management

We operate differently to other providers. Our Skills Coaches, support and embed the learning after each workshop. Our team of experienced trainers deliver the skills in the workshops. Our two teams work together to deliver the standards in an innovative and engaging way.

Working with a variety of really exciting clients across public and private sectors, from large to small employers, our ambition is to be the first choice and leading provider in leadership & management training.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE LOOK LIKE?

  • Curating the programme of individual learners through an active programme of skills coaching
  • Directing, assessing and evaluating skills growth & personal growth
  • Coaching Learners on a 1-2-1 basis, in study groups, through webinars and digital classroom sessions.
  • Administrating individual learning plans including portfolio preparation, assessment, feedback and grading.
  • Preparing Learners for their End Point Assessment.
*there is no teaching of the skills workshops in our model, this is delivered by our training team.
